Symbiotic Stripes | Agnes Stadler & Elizabeth Richards

Fiber artists Agnes Stadler and Elizabeth Richards created this series of art quilts as an experiment with color, scale, and pattern. Their chosen motif, “Stripes”, opens possibilities for interpretations. Unique selections, including hand-dyed and repurposed fabrics, machine and hand stitching, as well as a mixture of traditional and original designs, result in bold, structured, and expressive compositions. The pieces become a dialogue between the artists, reflecting shared ideas, as well as individual creative voices. This exhibit invites the viewers to immerse themselves in the world of art quilts, while enjoying a whirlwind of colorful expression and graphic appeal.

Rhythm of Patterns | Carrie McGee Daley

Carrie McGee Daley is an artist from Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, whose work showcases precise, modern pointillism. Inspired by traditional quilting and geometric designs, she uses acrylic paint and specialized tools to create intricate compositions of carefully placed dots. Contrasting yet complementary colors bring depth, movement, symmetry, and balance to each piece. Her work is a practice in slowing down, finding calm, and being present in the moment. Recurring geometric patterns unite the collection into a cohesive exhibition. Through rhythm, repetition, and balance, Rhythm of Patterns celebrates harmony, mindfulness, and the beauty found in everyday designs.
