“My Riddance photographs are my way of shining a negative light on American gun culture through my art. The series is born of personal family tragedy and my own evolving views on the matter of America’s sometimes excessive gun culture.  The series started as arranged still life photographs of destroyed firearms but has evolved into images depicting how we are fed and consume gun culture in our everyday lives. While the topic is serious, some of the images have an almost whimsical quality.”
