About the PAA

The Paseo Arts Association (PAA) is a non-profit, 501 c3 organization that manages the monthly First Friday Gallery Walks, the annual Paseo Arts Festival, the SPACE Artist in Residence program at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel, Magic Lantern, the Paseo Arts Awards and Paseo FEAST. Since our move in 2020, our expansion of creating the Paseo Arts and Creativity Center has bolstered our visibility and our programming growth. The PAA now manages three art galleries, a gift shop, a photography studio and 10 artist studio spaces, hosting 30 art exhibitions every year.

The Paseo Arts Association (PAA) has also worked since 1981 to develop the Paseo Arts District into the thriving arts district it is today. We work to strengthen the foundation of our historic district by supporting artistic growth within the community year-round through public events and programs. Today, thousands of annual visitors attend Paseo events and programs, and over 80 artists maintain more than 20 active galleries or studios in the neighborhood. Several restaurants, nonprofit organizations and 25 other businesses also call the area home. Through public and private support, the PAA was able to energize and transform the district into a haven for the arts. Today, the vibrancy and personality of the District have solidified it as an iconic fixture in the OKC cityscape and the Paseo Arts District has become a certified Cultural District.
