JURIED SHOWS
Providing Opportunities For Artists
The PAA hosts five annual juried exhibitions in the Paseo Arts & Creativity Center. These exhibits provide visual artists of all mediums, ages, and stages an opportunity to exhibit to sell their work, win cash awards, and engage with other artists in the community. We bring in outside artists to curate each exhibit. Artists from all over Oklahoma and surrounding states submit, and for many, a PAA juried show has been their first experience exhibiting work.

The gallery is open to the public Tue-Fri 11am-5pm & Sat 12-5pm and operated by PAA staff. All work must be for sale and the PAA retains a 30% commission (20% for the SmallArt Show).

An opening reception is held during First Friday, with awards typically announced at 7pm by the juror. A casual evening during the monthly gallery walk, receptions are a great way to connect with the dozens of other artists in the show.

Typically on a Saturday afternoon during the month of the exhibit, artists who submitted work to a show, whether selected or not, as well as PAA members are invited to attend a critique and feedback session with the juror in the gallery.
Each juror has a unique perspective on the work and process by which they curate from submissions. Many times, when artists submit work or apply to a program but aren’t selected, they may never receive any feedback about where they could improve. We hope to provide artists with an opportunity to learn how they can improve their work and the quality of their applications, as well as gain a better understanding of the jurying process by hearing directly from the jurors themselves.
Small Art Show
Apply August - October | Exhibit in November and December
Featured during the months of November and December, all work is smaller than 15” in any direction and priced between $25 and $199. Open to all mediums of visual art, this show is perfect for the beginning collector and for sharing the gift of original art during the holiday season.

The PAA Members’ Show exhibits art works in all visual mediums created by our supportive members in the PACC during the month of February.
PAA membership is open to everyone, but this exhibit is only open to our members. For information about joining, please visit our Membership page.

Each March, the PAA hosts an all-medium visual exhibit centered around a different theme each year in the PACC.
Print on Paseo
Apply May - June | Exhibit in July
Open to all types of printmaking ranging from traditional style to contemporary. Through this exhibition, the PAA strives to represent and spotlight the depth and diversity of Oklahoma printmakers and educate the public about the many different methods of printmaking.

Open to all types of photography, including traditional and digital process as well as photography-based mixed media work.
