Rachel Rose Dazey uses multiple art forms to communicate her ideas. Dazey bridges fashion, art, poetry and light through the sculptural forms found in her jewelry and photography. Without leaning too heavily on any one form she allows herself to inhabit a space that strikes balance between form and thought. Her photography works to highlight anduplift women in unlikely forms, while her jewelry works as a connector, flipping the idea of jewelry as status symbol to jewelry as value symbol. The underlying value being the connection we share with the world around us. Nature’s forms and movement are communicated through her work, which she uses to raise awareness of global and local environmental issues. Her mission is to create work that challenges people to discover the world within, the universe inside their thoughts and how it connects to the surrounding world. In 2017, Dazey opened an independent art studio/gallery in downtown Tulsa, OK.
