JOIN US FOR A FEAST! at Woodworks Distilling Co. in Oklahoma City’s Britton District.

On Tuesday, October 13, from 6-8pm, enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Kam’s Kookery and listen to five finalists pitch their creative project idea! At the end of the night, patrons will vote on the winner of a grant of up to $2,000. Tickets will be for sale on September 8!

ABOUT THE FEAST PROGRAM

FEAST (Funding Emerging Artists Through Sustainable Tactics) is an annual artist grant program in Oklahoma managed by the Paseo Arts Association that gives five hopeful artists an opportunity to receive up to $2,000 in financial support from the community to fund their creative vision, project or artistic endeavors. Every summer, a call for proposals opens, and every fall, an event is hosted where finalists pitch their idea and the community selects a winner.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Artists submit their creative project proposals to be considered as a finalist, and a committee made up of arts professionals reviews proposals and selects up to five finalists.

2. Patrons purchase a ticket to attend the FEAST event and receive a voting token. They enjoy a delicious dinner, a cash bar, and a chance to meet the finalists before the finalists give their pitch.

3. The five finalists give a five-minute presentation about their proposal! Afterwards, all patrons will vote for their favorite with a FEAST token! Then votes are tallied.

4. The winner is announced at the end of the event and will receive funding provided by half of the ticket sales for their proposal, with the possibility of additional donations in their ballot boxes (the winning artist/group will receive a check within two weeks of the event.
