The Duets Art Show - An Art Fundraiser for Autism Oklahoma

The 6th Annual Duets Show

Every April, the Paseo Arts Association partners with Autism Oklahoma to host a show for the neurodivergent artists who want to show off their work! Duets is the pairing of an artist on the autism spectrum with a neurotypical artist to create a unique painting that is built upon a mutual idea or interest. “Sometimes, when you bring two artists together, magic happens. It is an honor to share a little magic at Duets,” says Duets’ executive director Kelly Dyer Fry.

For many of the artists participating in the Duets program, Duets is more than an exhibition - it is an opportunity for creative collaboration, connection, self-expression, and recognition. Blending perspectives, styles, and experiences, artists are able to create a collaborative piece that invites the viewer on a visual journey through fantastical scenery and vivid styles.

The 6th annual Duets show highlights creative, artistic collaboration, and proceeds from the show will benefit Autism Oklahoma. Autism Oklahoma provides programs that help communities accept and embrace people with autism, help families thrive, and help autistic individuals reach their potential, build friendships, and lead meaningful lives.

The displayed artists have contributed pieces that are a reflection of creativity, imagination, and evoke a spirit of compassion, community, and humanity.

These works can be purchased through an online auction that begins on April 3rd and ends on April 23rd at 7 pm. All funds raised through the online auction are directly donated to the Autism Oklahoma mission.

Paseo Artists Collective Show

The Paseo Artist Collective is a group of nine artists rooted in Oklahoma City’s Paseo Arts District. From their 20s to their 70s, our PAC artists share a passion of creativity, inspiration, community, and engagement with each other to challenge and uplift one another. These artists engage in collaboration with one another through sharing knowledge, personal experiences, and friendships that enrich and create a strong foundation for the entire creative community.

Together, they call the Paseo Arts and Creativity Center home—a dynamic hub of galleries, studios, and collaboration that amplifies our collective voice and strengthens the cultural heartbeat of the Paseo.
