Ica, a place just outside Lima where all buses cross lines, is chaos and the sensation grows as you near the center or, to more precise, the bus terminal, the movement of cars and people circling it to the music of horns and cumbia.  Every now and then a person gets thrown out of this tornado and of these people there are two types--those that have arrived and those that cannot continue.  The hostels line the streets for the latter, some as cheap as twenty soles.
