Jennifer Cocoma Hustis is known for her expressive large-scale paintings and drawings, dimensional prints, mixed media, and sculptures of horses and wildlife. For three decades the artist has explored cross-cultural legends of animals as ethereal messengers to inspire her artwork. Often spiritual messages are curiously discovered in Jennifer’s day-to-day quietly working with horses and creating artwork.
The Oklahoma artist has a master’s degree from Pratt Institute, NY. As Head Instructor and Founder of Art of Horsemanship LLC, Jennifer enjoys sharing her artistic talents and lifetime of horsemanship knowledge with all ages. Jennifer has partnered with museums and galleries creating interactive educational art exhibits often advocating western history and our nation’s icon; wild mustangs. You can find her artwork in galleries and part of private collections in the United States and abroad. The artist/author also shares personal stories about animals and the life lessons they teach in her heavily illustrated books.
